How to Hide, Disable or Remove Blogger Blogspot NavBar?

At the top of most Blogger blogs you'll see a navigation bar, which enables you to flick from one blog to the next (plus additional options when you are signed in). Many bloggers have used CSS techniques to hide the navbar.

If you want to hide the navbar in your blogger blog, here's what you should do (these instructions refer to the "new" Blogger layouts templates):

Go to Template>Edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard and first back-up your template to ensure you can restore it if you make unwanted mistakes!
Next, find this line in the template: </b:skin>
Just before this line, insert the following lines of code:

do you want to Remove Blogger Navbar Completely ?

There is a slight different between this blogger trick rather than the one before. As you can see from the tutorial before about How To Hide Or Remove Blogger Navbar which basically the blogger navbar still exist and loaded by the internet browser even though you already hide it.

Blogger has got a default Navigation Bar.

This navigation bar is hidden in most of the third party templates. Instead of hiding the nav bar using CSS, we can completely remove it.

How to do To do that ?

1. Login to your Blogger account and navigate to Layout > Edit HTML

2. In the Template Code find <body> and just above that add the following Code.

3. Now Save the Template and you will see a confirmation about deleting the

Navbar Widget. Confirm the Deletion by Clicking on the Delete Widgets Button as

 it shows bellow !

4.Now your Navbar is completely removed from your Blog.

How to Get back the NavBar?

If you followed this method to remove the navbar and now want to get it back, then delete the extra code that you added. i.e remove the code from step 2, that you added into your template and Save the Template.

Easter Is the Holiest Day of the Year in Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a largely Orthodox Christian country along with the rest of the Balkans (except for Croatia)and, as such, religious devotions figure prominently in the Easter holiday. During Holy Week, some very devout Bulgarians attend church every day.

Palm Sunday Begins Holy Week

Palm Sunday is known as Tsvetnitsa or Vrubnitsa (Flower Day) and the faithful are given a dispensation and allowed to eat fish. Since palms aren't readily available, pussy willows are taken to church to be blessed. The branches are often fashioned into crowns by young girls and worn to church until they are thrown in a river, hopefully to be caught by their future husband on the other side. Many people named after flowers or plants, like Violeta, Roza, Lillia, celebrate their name day on Palm Sunday, and others called Velichka, Velina, Velika and Veichko have their name day on Easter day.

Holy or Maundy Thursday

Easter eggs are dyed on Maundy (Holy) Thursday or Holy Saturday. The first red egg dyed on Holy Thursday is a symbol of health and good fortune for the family and is set aside to be kept until next Easter.

Good Friday

Good Friday is the anniversary of the Crucifixion, and the day when a table is set up in churches representing Christ's coffin. The faithful climb underneath in the hopes of having a year full of health and fertility.

Holy Saturday

Holy Saturday services begin at 11 p.m. Families and friends attend church together, carrying their colored eggs with them. When the clock strikes midnight, they greet each other with the words Hristos vozkrese (Christ has risen). The response is Voistina vozkrese (He has risen indeed). The priest and faithful then walk around the church three times with lit candles in hand. The belief is if one has been a good Christian, his candle will not go out no matter how strong the wind might be, because he has no sins. After services are over, the all-important "egg fight" or choukane s yaitsa takes place. Opponents smash their eggs into each other with the egg left unbroken proclaimed the winner or borak. The winning egg is kept until next Easter and is a sign of good luck.

The Fun Stuff

In Bulgarian Orthodox Church tradition, the Lenten fast begins on Zagovezni, the Sunday six weeks before Easter. For the 46 days of Lent, church members abstain from all animal and fish products and byproducts, that means butter, cheese, milk, and caviar, if you can afford it!
While not a morsel is eaten before Easter Sunday, yeast-raised cakes and buns in animal shapes, and cookie rabbits and flowers are baked during Holy Week. The most important ritual bread is the braided kozunak.
On Easter Sunday, after 46 days of fast and abstinence, a feast of all the prohibited food is laid on the table, with the kozunak, symbolizing the body of Christ, taking center stage. Lamb, representing the Paschal Lamb, is always served.

Superstitions

It is believed if one hears a cuckoo midway during Lent, spring is coming. Likewise, if one has money in his pocket at the sound of the cuckoo, he will be rich in the coming year, but if one has no money or is hungry, then that will likely be how the rest of the year will play out.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Dubai Group, part of an investment company controlled by the emirate's ruler, is reportedly seeking to renegotiate the terms on $10 billion in debt — $4 billion more than previously divulged.
The disclosure highlights the serious financial challenges and problems with transparency still facing the indebted city-state despite its success in retooling the terms on $25 billion of state-linked debt.
Dubai Group has not publicly commented on the higher debt tally, which has been reported elsewhere, including by the Emirati government-owned daily The National on Tuesday.
An official familiar with the negotiations confirmed the $10 billion figure to The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the talks are private.
The total amount of debt involved includes $6 billion of bank loans, which the company has previously acknowledged, plus $4 billion owed to investors elsewhere, the official said.
Representatives for Dubai Group's parent company Dubai Holding and the Dubai government media office declined to comment.
Dubai Group first acknowledged the need to open up debt talks with lenders last year. In late January, it said it had begun negotiating with two sets of lenders separately to try to hammer out the $6 billion restructuring more efficiently.
One negotiating committee involving a division of France's Natixis SA and Dubai-based Mashreqbank covers secured creditors, which means their loans are backed by collateral.
The other is made up of partially secured and unsecured creditors. It includes the U.K.'s Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC and five regional lenders.
Dubai Group is part of a conglomerate known as Dubai Holding, which is personally controlled by the city-state's hereditary ruler, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It owns property in the U.S. and has sizable stakes in several financial companies, including regional bank EFG-Hermes and Europe's Marfin Popular Bank.
Its most pressing debt concern is a $1.5 billion loan coming due in August.
Dubai and its many government-controlled companies are shouldering well over $100 billion in debt, though the total size of the liabilities has never been disclosed.
The emirate in March signed a final agreement with creditors to repay $25 billion worth of loans tied to state conglomerate Dubai World on revised terms over the next eight years. Acute financial problems at the company in late 2009 sent tremors through global markets.

True friends don't desert each other when one is facing trouble. They would face it together and support each other.True friends are not opportunists. They don't help, because they have something to gain out of it. True friendship is marked by selflessness. Best friends support even each other, even if the whole world opposes them.

It is not easy getting true friends for the lifetime in this world of cynics and back stabbers . If you have even one true friend, consider yourself blessed!

The Roman philosopher Cicero believed that in order to have a true friendship with someone, one must have complete honesty, truth, and trust. He also thought that friends would do things for each other without expectation of repayment. If a friend is about to do something wrong, one should not compromise one's morals and let the friend commit the action--one should explain what is wrong about the action, and help one's friend understand what is right. Cicero believed that ignorance is the cause of evil.

In Russia, one typically accords very few people the status of "friend". These friendships, however, make up in intensity what they lack in number. Friends are entitled to call each other by their first names alone, and to use diminutives. A norm of polite behavior is addressing "acquaintances" by full first name plus patronymic.These could include relationships which elsewhere would be qualified as real friendships, such as workplace relationships of long standing, or neighbors with whom one shares an occasional meal or a customary drink.

In the Middle East and Central Asia, male friendships, while less restricted than in Russia, tend also to be reserved and respectable in nature. They may use nick names and diminutive forms of their first names. In countries like India, it is believed in some parts that friendship is a form of respect, not born out of fear or superiority. Friends are people who are equal in most standards, but still respect each other irrespective of their attributes or shortcomings.

Pages are for businesses, brands, puppies, and yes…people. So, a person can have a profile and a page, but a business for example, cannot have a profile. A business must have a page.

If someone wants to friend you on Facebook, they go through your profile. This is a mutual relationship. If someone wants to connect with you, and you don’t know who they are, they can connect with you via a page by “Liking it.” This used to be called “Fanning” a page.

1) You originally created a profile for your business instead of a page.

Palm Sunday is the last big feast before Easter.

He entered the town on donkey and was greeted by people with "Hosanna" for having raised Lazarus previous day - Saturday. Formally welcomed in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, he voluntarily goes step by step destined to end his earthly life.
On this day of service at Christian churches hold in their hands sanctified willow branches to replace the palm branches - though once again meet their Savior. Priests consecrate the branches and flowers, brought by believers. After worship Christians carry away the sanctified willow twigs in their homes for health and prevent disease and evil. Usually they are wrapped wreaths to be hung above the house or home over the altar.
In this day continue Lazarovi rituals and customs. On this holiday with “kumichene” of lazarki ends the cycle of maiden spring games. At dusk on the town square young men and women for the last time play lazarski dance, for the first time since Easter Fast, the round dance is concluded. People call the holiday the Palm Sunday celebration, Color Sunday, Vaya, Kuklenden. Palm Sunday is the feast of flowers and flowering. Name day celebrate all bearing the names of flowers, plants, shrubs and trees.

Syria’s emergency law to end, says Assad

DAMASCUS - President Bashar al-Assad said on Saturday the emergency law in force in Syria for nearly 50 years will be abolished within a week, and expressed his sadness at the deaths of protesters.

“The juridical commission on the emergency law has prepared a series of proposals for new legislation, and these proposals will be submitted to the government, which will issue a new law within a week at the most,” he said.

The emergency law, in force since 1963, imposes restrictions on public gatherings and movement, authorises the interrogation of any individual and the monitoring of private communications and imposes media censorship.

In a televised address to the new cabinet recorded earlier in the day, Assad also expressed his sorrow over the deaths of an estimated 200 people killed in a month of protests across Syria demanding greater freedoms.

“We are sad for all the people we have lost and all the people injured, and consider them all martyrs,” he said in his address to a new government tasked with launching reforms after protests demanding greater freedoms snowballed.

“The Syrian people are respectable. They love the regime and reject chaos,” Assad said, and called for a national dialogue to find the best model that suits the country.

Assad also spoke of what he called the gulf “between citizens and the institutions of the state, a gulf that must quickly be filled.”

“Citizens need security and services, but also dignity. We want to engage in dialogue with the unions and with national organisations.”

In addition to the emergency law, Assad also addressed the wide range of complaints that have brought people to the streets across Syria for more than a month, such as joblessness, corruption and a crisis in agriculture.

“Corruption is a threat to morality and to the country’s potential for development,” he said.

On unemployment, which he acknowledged to be high even by Arab standards, he said that “when people feel the horizon is limited, they feel depression; and this depression can lead to despair.”

Assad added that the world economic crisis had made the role of the state “more important,” emphasising the need to support the “small entrepreneur and not large business” and to “improve the connection of markets, not only between people but between cities.”

Earlier, thousands of people attended the funeral of a man who died after being shot by regime agents in the northwestern coastal city of Banias, witnesses and activists said.

The mourners chanted slogans in favour of greater freedoms and against the ruling Baath party, and some also called for an end to the regime, the sources told AFP.

About 2,000 women also rallied “in favour of liberty and in homage of the martyr,” in the city centre, a human rights activist told AFP.

Prime Minister Adel Safar on Thursday unveiled his new cabinet, which is expected to carry out broad reforms.

On Friday, tens of thousands of people rallied to demand greater freedoms, exactly one month after a rare protest was staged in Damascus calling for the release of political prisoners.

The protests stretched from the key southern town of Daraa, to the predominantly Kurdish north, via the central industrial city of Homs and the coastal cities of Latakia and Banias, activists said.

The official SANA news agency said a policeman who was killed when violence flared during an anti-regime demonstration in Homs would be buried on Saturday.

Another 4,500 people demonstrated in the three Kurdish neighbourhoods of Ras al-Ain, Amuda and Derbassiye, near Qamishli, Berro told AFP.

Around 1,000 people held similar protests in the northwestern coastal city of Latakia while in Jobar, north of Damascus, police with batons and tear gas clashed with some 2,000 demonstrators, rights activists said.

A global outcry over deadly crackdowns on month-old, anti-regime demonstrations widened on Friday with the United States and the United Nations renewing calls on Syria to halt the violence.

On Thursday Syria announced an amnesty for scores of prisoners detained in a month of protests. But the Syrian League for Human Rights said on Saturday that “several activists,” including prominent pro-democracy writer and journalist, were still behind bars.

Lazarus,” Lazaritza "or" Lazarova Saturday "is celebrated always on the Saturday before “ Tsvetnitsa”. The holiday is named after St. Lazarus, who is Christ risen from the fourth day of his funeral as a sign of gratitude for its hospitality.

The Lebanese company Oger Telecom will take over Bulgarian Vivacom within a month, according to a publication by Bulgarian wide-circulation daily Trud.

Oger is owned by elite Lebanese family Hariri, which has included two PMs of Lebanon, Rafik and Saad, the first of whom founded the company.

Oger is directed by his older brother Mohammed Hariri, who has embarked on a project for expansion in Europe.

Saturday the Trud paper writes that Oger Telecom is expected to buy 25% of Vivacom, in addition to its operative management.

Oger will also have the option to buy the majority of the shares within a year.

The deal is reported to be "extremely complicated." The buyer will not be paying much for the shares, but instead will be obliged to pay Vivacom's loans to various banks, which amount to over EUR 1.3 B.

Vivacom - formerly know as the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) - has gone through a number of controversial privatization deals.

The majority share of the company is at present held by Viva Ventures, a subsidiary of London-based equity fund Advent International.

Drawbacks

Finally blogger give easy way to make read more like wordpress.com, this function only active if you use new post editor. With Jump Breaks you can show just a snippet of your post on your blog's index page. Blogger will insert a "Read more" link to the full post page where your readers can keep reading.

Setting –> Basic –> Choose “updated editor”

There are a couple of ways to insert a "Read more" jump to your posts. If you use the new post editor (available on Blogger in Draft, or by enabling it via the Settings tab), you'll notice the "Insert jump break" icon in the editor's toolbar. Click this icon and the "jump break" will be inserted into your blog post at your cursor's position.

Want to change the "Read more" text to something more your style? No problem. You can edit the "Read more" text by clicking Layout and then Edit the Blog Posts widget.

One more note, the Jump Break feature does not change how your post appears in your feed. You can configure post feed options by going to Settings | Basic | Site Feed, and editing Allow Blog Feeds.

2- The page will refresh and you'll see that the code you pasted in the box has changed. Don't worry, copy that code and paste it in your post.

Step2 – Styling Tooltip/Popup

Then we proceed to adding an extra div within the list item with a paragraph tag.

CSS:

The div parent contains the top portion of the bubble image, and the paragraph carries out the bottom half of the bubble. This way the tooltip bubble can be flexible in size.

Step3 – Activating Tooltip with jQuery

From here we will add a simple hover event using jQuery.
